how renewals work
each year, renewals begin about a month before open leasing. if you're already living in a SAMI apartment, you’ll get the first opportunity to claim it for the upcoming school year. there are even a few perks:
when you renew, you won't need to pay anything extra!
your lease will roll over, and you'll just continue paying rent each month as usual.
we get it -- it's not always convenient having others taking a tour of your unit.
by renewing, your apartment is taken off the list of availability, so when open showing begins, you don't need to worry about a thing.
when you're already home, heading to the office to sign a lease can sound like a pain -- let's make it easier!
once you receive an email notifying you that renewals have started, just give us a call or send us an email.
we'll take it from there.
prefer to switch things up?
try SAMI to SAMI!
if you'd like to stick with us but need a different space, we offer our SAMI to SAMI option! this will begin a few weeks after renewals start, and you'll just pick the unit you'd like to see and schedule a virtual or in-person showing. one of our agents will work with you to find a place that better fits your updated preferences!
you can take your time! just not too much time. once open leasing begins, we can’t guarantee your spot will stay available.
