early move in
early move-in lets you settle into your new apartment ahead of schedule.
here's everything you need to know about how it works and what you'll be agreeing to:
estimated early move-In date: may 13, 2026
early move in waiver due date: april 24, 2026
here's how to get started:
- click here to read the early move in waiver and submit your request
- pay both your may rent and your early move in fee in full before early move in
note: if another tenant is still living in your future unit, it may delay your early move-in. be sure to keep in touch with our office as the date approaches to ensure everything is on track!
by submitting the early move-in waiver, you are agreeing to the following:
- you & your roommates must all be current on rent payments through june.
- the unit will not be cleaned prior to move-in and you are responsible for cleaning before move-out.
- maintenance, painting, and carpet cleaning may happen after you move in.
- sami is not responsible for any damage/loss during this time due to subcontractor work.
this agreement only becomes valid after all payments are made.
moving sami to sami
staying with sami but switching apartments?
our sami to sami process helps you transition between units with as little disruption as possible. here's how:
your current lease ends at 12:00pm the monday following isu graduation. you must be fully moved out of your current apartment by that time.
your new apartment may become available before that deadline. we recommend being fully packed and ready to move as early as friday of finals week.
note: while transfers typically take place between that friday and monday, early access is not guaranteed and depends on when the previous resident vacates and when the unit is ready.
to participate in sami to sami, the following must be completed prior to your move:
- submit the sami to sami transfer form by friday, april 24th
- submit the early move in form by friday, april 24th
- pay the $75 sami to sami transfer fee
- be current on both lease accounts
your transfer will not be scheduled until all items above are completed.
